The 2023 Honda Odyssey holds eight people, and it's an excellent choice for families. It comes with a variety of convenient, innovative features, and the interior is comfortable and spacious. Continue reading for more information about this appealing, versatile minivan.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Odyssey has a modern, sleek look and a curved profile. There's a narrow chrome bar across the top of the grille that connects the angular automatic headlights. The Honda symbol is in the middle, and there's a smaller lower grille. Five trim levels are available: EX, EX-L, Sport, Touring, and Elite. This vehicle comes with a spoiler, a sculpted hood, a rear windshield wiper and washer, power side mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels, and all-season tires. You'll also get active grille shutters, automatic LED headlights, tinted rear windows, fog lights, and a roof rack. You can add heated, power-folding, auto-dimming side mirrors with turn signals and memory settings. Power-sliding side doors, a hands-free power liftgate with programmable height settings, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a power moonroof with tilt capability, 19-inch wheels, and acoustic glass for a quiet ride are optional as well.
Engine (Power)
The 3.5-liter V-6 engine generates 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The 10-speed automatic transmission has overdrive capability and a manual mode. The automatic stop-and-start system can shut off the motor when you pause in traffic, conserving gas by reducing idling. The radio, air conditioner, and other devices stay on to keep you and your passengers comfortable. There's also a variable cylinder management system that saves fuel by deactivating some cylinders when you don't need all six.
Performance
This minivan has great acceleration for its size, paddle shifters for the steering wheel, and maneuverable power steering. An independent suspension provides a smooth ride, and active noise cancellation keeps your trip quiet. There's also an intelligent traction management system with a snow mode. The Odyssey can pull up to 3,500 pounds and haul another 3,500 pounds.
Interior
The 2023 Honda Odyssey comes with up to 158 cubic feet of cargo room and up to 163.6 cubic feet of passenger space. You'll also get keyless entry, push-button start, SiriusXM satellite radio, voice activation, a heated steering wheel, two 12-volt power outlets, and an 8-inch, high-resolution touch-screen.
Other standard features include a seven-speaker, 160-watt sound system with a subwoofer, speed-sensitive volume control, voice recognition, Android Auto, push-button start, Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, and a lockable glove compartment. The Odyssey also has three-zone climate control with air vents for the rear seats, audio, cruise, and phone controls for the steering wheel, heated front seats, folding rear seats, wireless charging, and sunshades for the second row. You can add sunshades for the third row, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, navigation, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 550-watt, 11-speaker audio system.
Safety Features
This vehicle comes with a multi-angle rearview camera, traction control, a security system with an engine immobilizer, stability control, and braking assistance. The Odyssey also has forward collision mitigation, road departure mitigation, lane-keeping assistance, blind spot monitoring, and traffic sign recognition.
